Since 2000, Kip has worked for Ewing & Ray Foundation Services. During this time Kip has worked in all areas within the company from the diagnosis and review of foundation problems, to the hands on implementation of solutions, to the supervision of multiple crews on multiple sites in different states. Since his arrival, Ewing & Ray has seen significant growth while maintaining the integrity and professionalism that has made the company so successful since 1968. In 2007, Kip became co-owner of Ewing & Ray with his brother Corey. Kip now serves as the President of Operations.

Prior to coming to Ewing & Ray, Kip worked for Viking Range Corporation in Greenwood, MS. He was a key leader and implementer of manufacturing systems during Viking’s major growth period from 1993 to 2000. As Viking grew so did his leadership roles, serving in various positions from Master Scheduler, to Inventory Production Manager, to Materials Manager, all the way to Plant Manager.

In 1993 Kip graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree from Mississippi State University’s College of Engineering. Upon graduation, Kip was voted “The Most Outstanding Graduating Senior” by his faculty and peers. Along with his Engineering course work Kip also completed all of the core business classes and began work on his Masters of Business Administration. In 1991 Kip joined the U.S. Army and continued service while attending college serving as a Non-Commissioned Officer. In 1996 Kip was selected to attend the U.S. Army’s Officer Candidate School and was commissioned. Upon his OCS graduation Kip was awarded the “Distinguished Leader Award” for his class. Kip’s education has also consisted of attending the U.S. Army Engineer School, as well as engineering classes at the University of Wisconsin and University of Tennessee.

In addition to all of the experience and education he has received, Kip is also a member of many prestigious engineering and construction societies and is proud to hold the rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America. Kip is confident that his educational background, and his years of experience will allow him to appropriately assist you with any foundation, drainage, and/or structural problems you may be experiencing.
